My PhD Mentor is a mentoring program designed to improve the PhD experience and promote the personal, spiritual, and professional growth of those who undertake this path.

Scope

My PhD Mentor has as its primary purpose the creation of an intergenerational and international support network for all those pursuing or intending to pursue a PhD.

MyPhDMentor is aimed at both master’s students and doctoral students at different stages of the doctoral course, belonging to various Italian and foreign universities. This makes it possible to offer mentees (those who require support/confrontation from a more senior person, i.e. mentor) a broader and more complete vision of the doctoral path and subsequent possibilities in industry/academia, help them to take better choices.

Objective

MyPhDMentor intends to create mentor/mentee pairs in which the mentor is the person with greater academic/work experience. The pairs are created starting from a database of master students, PhD students and senior researchers, without any restrictions related to the research field or country of residence/origin.

MyPhDMentor uses a matching algorithm to create pairs based on the answers provided by candidates in the program registration form.
